RoadTo1M Publisher ("the app") is a private tool run by a single operator in Italy to publish educational videos on the operator's own YouTube channels. This policy explains what the app does with data it obtains through Google sign-in and YouTube API Services.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Data the app accesses
- The operator's own YouTube channel information (channel id, title, status).
- The channel's own videos: uploading videos, thumbnails and captions, updating titles, reading upload and privacy status.
- The channel's own YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time, estimated revenue).
- Public YouTube search results and public video statistics, used to measure interest in topics.
The app does not access, collect or store personal data of viewers or of any other YouTube user.
How data is used
Data is used only to publish the operator's videos and to decide which topics to cover next. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens and analytics snapshots are stored on the operator's private server, readable only by the operator, and are not transferred elsewhere. Analytics snapshots are kept for as long as the channel is operated and deleted when the channel is closed.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops the app from reaching the account; stored tokens then become useless and are deleted.
